In short: write to contact@claudiocardenas.dev. Every message is read by Claudio Cárdenas, who builds and runs delsub. It is one person, not a support team, so a reply can take a few days.
contact@claudiocardenas.dev is the only contact address for delsub, and for its sibling tool, delexif. There is no contact form, chat or account to sign in to.
What you can write about
- Something that doesn’t work. Say what you did, what you expected and what happened instead, and which browser and device you used.
- A mistake in a guide. If something in the guides is wrong or out of date, a link to the page and a short note is enough.
- Suggestions. A subtitle format that isn’t cleaned well, a sound annotation that should be removed, or an option you miss. An example of the input and the output you expected helps most.
- Privacy questions and requests. Questions about the Privacy Policy, or requests about personal data, such as asking for a past email to be deleted.
- An ad that shouldn’t be there. If you see an ad that is misleading or inappropriate, tell us the page and, if possible, the advertiser’s name or a screenshot.
Please don’t send private files
delsub processes your subtitles on your device and never needs them to work. If a file causes a problem, please don’t send material you aren’t free to share: a few lines that reproduce the problem, with the text changed if needed, are just as useful to find the bug.
What happens to your message
Emails sent to this address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox hosted by Google (Gmail). The operator uses your address and message to reply, not to add you to a mailing list or use your message for advertising. You can ask for the conversation to be deleted. The Privacy Policy explains the role of these services.
